MeB4 Terms of Use

What MeB4 is

MeB4 is a map where shops and individuals list items and shoppers find them. MeB4 helps people connect. MeB4 is not the seller, doesn't own the items, and isn't a party to a sale between a shopper and a seller.

Your account

You are responsible for what happens under your account. Give accurate information. Tell us if someone else is using it.

Listing items

• Only list things you own or are allowed to sell.
• Authentic items only. No counterfeits or fakes.
• Sizes are approximate. The app measures on the phone. A measurement helps a shopper picture the item and is not a promise. Describe the condition honestly.
• No illegal items, weapons, stolen goods, adult content, or anything unsafe.
• Your photos must be your own, or you must have the right to use them (for shops: photos from your own website).
• Choose a public pickup area. Don't put your home address in a listing.

Shopping and holds

• A hold reserves an item for 24 hours so you and the seller can arrange pickup in the in-app chat. You can hold up to 3 items at a time, and you can't hold your own item.
• The app takes no payments. You pay the seller directly, in person.
• Meet in a public place and check the item before you pay. MeB4 doesn't guarantee any item or any person.

Shops

• A shop's account is reviewed before it goes live on the map. We may ask you to prove you own the shop.
• Catalog listings use photos and details from your website. We pull them only with your approval, and you choose which items appear.
• Pricing: the first 2 months are free, then $9 per month. We will confirm in writing before any charge.
• You are responsible for keeping stock and prices accurate. Sold-out items may be removed.

Behaviour

No harassment, scams, spam, or abuse. Don't try to break or probe the app. Don't take other people's information.

Reporting and blocking

You can report a listing or a person, and block anyone, from inside the app. We review reports within 48 hours where we can, and may remove listings or accounts. Rights holders can send takedown requests to founder@meb4.com.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you post. You give MeB4 permission to show it on the map and in the app, and to store it. You also allow MeB4 to use the private scan files to improve how it measures garments; you can ask us to delete yours at any time.

Ending things

You can delete your account at any time in the app. We can suspend or remove accounts or listings that break these terms.

Our responsibility

MeB4 is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, MeB4 isn't liable for what sellers list, what shoppers do, or losses from a sale, and our total liability to you is limited to $100 or the fees you paid us in the last 12 months, whichever is greater. Some places don't allow these limits, so parts may not apply to you.

We will tell you in the app about changes that matter.
